Welcome to the Local Link Foundation Course. This course has been specially designed to prepare you for beginning academic studies locally. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be ready to pursue a Bachelor of Education (TESL) degree. This Foundation course is aimed primarily at developing your English Language proficiency, broadening and deepening your knowledge in relevant content areas and enhancing your creative and critical thinking skills. We also recognize the fact that you will be undertaking a critical part of your academic studies in this institution. For this reason, we will attempt to prepare you for immersion into an English-speaking environment both academically and socially.

Your programme is designed to encourage your participation on a co-operative basis, and to be a professionally relevant, stimulating and enjoyable experience. IPG Keningau Campus aims to train and produce teachers of international standards to fulfil the aspirations of the nation.  It also hopes to produce well-rounded teachers who will continually enhance their potential and acquire competencies to help develop citizens in line with the aspirations of the nation. Let us together work towards achieving this! Best wishes in your academic endeavours.

Mr. John Roy Chacko,
Programme Coordinator,
